New beginnings
I wouldn’t peg myself as a professional blogger. I don’t really know that much about blogging, but I love to write and share my story with people in hopes that maybe something of my story would connect with you.
That is why I started this blog. Not to be the number one blogger in the nation, or get the most “views.” Just a place to share part of myself and hope that you would share part of yours too through comments.
Today I was broken and humbled by the grace of my Almighty God. I recently started an intern at Catalyst. Today it hit me during an interview with Brenda Salter McNeil and Brad Lomenick, that I was a part of something so huge and amazingly incredible. I am so grateful and truly humbled that I would be chosen to be a part of something so life changing. I am definitely not qualified, but our God is good. He gives second, third, countless chances and draws near to those who draw near to him. He restores what is broken, and breathes life into things that were pronounced dead by the world.
“Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were noble by birth. But God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.” 1 Corinthians 1:26-27
Over the course of this summer I will be restored in places I never knew were broken, and changed from the inside out. I will make some amazing friends along the way as well. I hope to share part of this life changing journey with everyone that is willing to listen and engage.
